Where can I get private Muay Thai lessons in Somerville or Boston?

Brazilian Martial Arts Center (BMAC), at 700 Mystic Avenue in Somerville, offers private Muay Thai lessons with its Muay Thai instructors, a team that includes three black prajioud holders. Call Marcelo at (617) 628-3800 to set one up.

Private lessons suit people with a tight schedule, people who want to learn the basics before joining a group, and experienced students who want focused work on technique.

BMAC's Muay Thai team: head instructor Marcelo Siqueira, a former South American kickboxing champion who holds the Muay Thai black-white prajioud; Victor Pereira and Douglas Campbell, who hold the black prajioud; and Felipe Vignoli, a certified Muay Thai and kickboxing instructor and former member of Brazil's national Taekwondo team.

Many students combine private lessons with the all-levels group classes:

  • Monday and Wednesday: 7am, 6pm and 8pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 11am and 6pm
  • Friday: 6pm and 8pm
  • Saturday: 11am
