Is there a Muay Thai gym near Cambridge or Everett?
Brazilian Martial Arts Center (BMAC), at 700 Mystic Avenue in Somerville, runs adult Muay Thai six days a week and is about 8 minutes by car from Everett and 12 from Harvard Square outside rush hour, with free parking. The first class is free.
Getting there:
- From Everett: about 8 minutes by car.
- From Cambridge: about 5 minutes from Union Square and 12 from Harvard Square by car.
- By transit: take the Orange Line to Sullivan Square, then MBTA bus 95, which stops at Mystic Ave @ Moreland St, a short walk from the door.
- Parking is free, right off I-93 at Exit 21.
Current adult Muay Thai class times:
- Monday and Wednesday: 7am, 6pm and 8pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 11am and 6pm
- Friday: 6pm and 8pm
- Saturday: 11am

Every class is all levels. Classes are taught by head instructor Marcelo Siqueira, a former South American kickboxing champion who holds the Muay Thai black-white prajioud, along with black prajioud instructors Victor Pereira and Douglas Campbell.
Wear comfortable workout clothes to your first class. BMAC provides the rest.
